Q 1. What is the process and how long does it take?
Here is the process:
Step 1 : Simply pick up the phone and give us a call on 9446-9413. If you like the sound of what we can do for you, then we move to the next step.
Step 2: If it suits you, we will come to your business, because a face-to-face meeting can give us a better idea of your needs, but more importantly you can decide if you like us.
Step 3: We will then try to find out as much about your market and the services you offer, looking for the best way to promote your business online.
Step 4: We will prepare a proposal based on your needs, that gives you the details of your new site, all costs and timelines. We can also prepare a "mock-up" so that you can get an idea what your new site could look like before you commit. You have the option of having a dynamic website that use a CMS - content management system, or the site could exist as static pages.
Step 5: If you decide you like us and our ideas, then on receipt of a deposit we go ahead with the web design phase. At this stage, we all pool our ideas and discuss the design.
Step 6: After the front page design is completed, you have another chance to comment on the design. When you are happy, we create the other pages of your site. If you have all your content (words) and images available at this point, you could have your site completed within two weeks.
Q 2. Do I have to have a name for my website?
NO, if you want us to, we will arrange domain name registration and a hosting service for you, so you don't have to worry about a thing.
Q 3. What about ongoing costs? Are there any hidden extras?
You must have hosting for your site, that is a "home" for your site to live on the web. At Perth Business Websites our hosting is reliable, affordable and tailored to your needs. Most of our hosting is charged at $19 per month.
Depending on what functionality you want on your website, there may be additional monthly costs for service provision, such as shopping carts or auto-responder email. We will make sure you fully understand any additional costs before going ahead.
